Its a great lens to have, for photos as well! Though with the 5D MkII the rear element of the Takumar 50mm f1.4 and the cameras mirror will jam when the lens is focused at infinity... I solved that problem by putting a shim between the lens and EOS adapter. Good luck getting your 50mm f1.4, I cant wait to see some shots of some big old Brown Trout with it! Hey Corey
